TheatreWorks of Northern Nevada Presents BABE, The Sheep-Pig

A play by David Wood

Adapted from the book The Sheep-Pig, by Dick King-Smith

Directed by Nikki Ernst

Artown Family Series Monday July 20th, 7 pm. Wingfield Park Amphitheatre

 

Babe is a delightful tale of courageous triumphs and adventure in a small, humble barnyard. This is a story of an extraordinary friendship between a farmer with high hopes and a small piglet with a big destiny that changes the farm and the world of sheep-dog trials forever. Suitable for all ages , Babe allows your family to holds its breath to see whether this small polite pig with big with big dreams will triumph against all odds to become a hero. This lovely play teaches an important lesson to children that the best things in life are courage, determination, and most importantly-friends.
